About

"6 Seasons and a Game," released in 2021, is a unique multiplayer shooter that serves as a satirical parody of American broadcast television series. This completely free, volunteer-made title creatively blends humor with gameplay, allowing players to engage in lighthearted competitions while navigating a charmingly absurd narrative environment. Its distinctive approach to storytelling and humor sets it apart from typical shooter games, providing a refreshing twist on the genre.

In terms of PC performance, "6 Seasons and a Game" is notably accessible, making it ideal for a wide range of gamers. With a minimum GPU requirement of an entry-level graphics card (with a minimum score of ~2180), even budget systems can deliver satisfying FPS. For optimal performance, players should consider GPUs that comfortably exceed this benchmark to enhance their gameplay experience, especially if they want to enjoy higher graphics settings while maintaining smooth frame rates.

If you're a fan of shooters or appreciate satirical content, "6 Seasons and a Game" is definitely worth trying out. Its blend of humor and engaging multiplayer action, combined with its low hardware demands, makes it an enjoyable choice for both casual and dedicated gamers alike.

Performance profile

Released in January 2021, 6 Seasons and a Game targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

6 Seasons and a Game is latency-sensitive: a high refresh-rate monitor (144 Hz+) and consistent 1% low framerate matter more than raw averages. Aim for a GPU that delivers 20–30% more headroom than the "just 60 FPS" tier to keep frame pacing smooth during intense fights.

Extremely light — 6 Seasons and a Game runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

In this game you'll find fast paced classic arena shooter gameplay, bright colors, tons of Easter eggs. and lots of meta references. The early access version of this game will feature a classic style 8v8 map of unique characters being challenged to a paintball match by their evil doppledeaners. The purpose of this project is for aspiring game developers to come together as a community to gain experience and to meet different people. We hope you enjoy joining us on this journey and support the continual addition of special and unique game modes. As long as there is interest in this projects continuation and volunteers to make it happen we will strive to improve this project to make it a unique and fun gaming experience for you to enjoy. Remember! This is a team of volunteers with limited experience in game development and this is still a very early access version. That being said, if you run into something that you think is a bug, it's actually a feature we put in to make this game unique!
