Performance profile
Released in June 2021, Chubby Bear Smash targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.
Fighting games live and die by latency. Chubby Bear Smash plays best at a locked 60 FPS with VSync off on a low-input-lag monitor; dropped frames are far more damaging than slightly lower resolution.
Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Chubby Bear Smash; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.
Storyline
It would be just another happy day in the forest if the bear didn't feel the rumble in his tummy. It's time to look for something to eat and that's when the bear sees the bees pass by with the recently harvested sweet nectar. The bear follows the bees by instinct into the forest because it knows that there will be more honey stored somewhere. They go deeper and deeper until the bees stop at a giant tree upon which the nest is built. The bear shows itself and immediately strikes the trees to make the nest falls but the bees won't let that happens and swarm out to defend their nest. Could the bear win this fight and claim its prize or it would lose to the force of bees?
