With a minimum GPU requirement that can be met by entry-level graphics cards (with a score of around 824), many players can enjoy smooth gameplay at various graphics settings. Most systems with 4 GB of RAM and a mid-tier GPU should be able to achieve solid frames per second (FPS), ensuring an enjoyable experience while exploring its expansive world.
If you're a fan of MMORPGs or the Final Fantasy franchise, Stormblood is definitely worth playing, especially given its strong rating of 86/100. The combination of engaging storylines and social interactions makes it a must-try for players seeking immersive experiences in the gaming landscape.
Performance profile
June 2017 release. Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood was built around the GTX 10-series / RX Vega era. Current-gen mid-range cards (RTX 4060 / RX 7600) are overkill at 1080p and handle 1440p Ultra comfortably.
Extremely light — Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
Shortly after the events of the finale of Heavensward, the Warrior of Light and their comrades make way to the war torn region of Gyr Abania, home to the city state of Ala Mhigo, which is under the control of the Garlean Empire. What follows is a quest that revolves around the liberation of both Ala Mhigo and Doma.
