About

Bombing Quest is a captivating single-player RPG released in 2020, blending elements of action and classic bomberman mechanics within an intriguing fantasy world. As players take on the role of the last protector of a mysterious ark, they navigate through hordes of fierce enemies while unraveling the storyline of an ancient civilization. Its unique premise and engaging gameplay set it apart in the indie gaming scene, appealing to fans of both RPGs and action games.

In terms of PC performance, Bombing Quest is designed to be accessible, with relatively modest hardware requirements. To achieve satisfactory FPS, players should consider a minimum GPU score of around 3900, which corresponds to entry-level graphics cards. A minimum CPU score of approximately 3131 and 2 GB of RAM will ensure that the game runs smoothly, even on less powerful systems. Higher-tier GPUs may improve performance and graphics settings, enhancing the overall gaming experience.

Given its distinct gameplay and favorable early reviews, Bombing Quest is worth trying for anyone who enjoys indie RPGs and nostalgic bomberman-style action. The combination of intriguing storytelling and accessible requirements makes it an excellent choice for gamers looking to dive into something unique without needing high-end hardware.

Performance profile

Released in March 2020, Bombing Quest targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

RPGs like Bombing Quest stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.

Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Bombing Quest; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.

Storyline

You wake up as a dwarf, chained in an exosuit with no memory of the past. What surrounds you are the walls of an ancient temple. Your only guides are mysterious shrines. Your only ally is a friendly robot - the suit support unit. You make your way out of the temple to find out that its builders have long been forgotten. Humans have settled over the ruins of the old empire. Fierse monsters roam across the land. Dangerous insects lurk in the shadows. Ancient rusty automatons keep digging towards the core of the world with the same relentless persistence they had in the day they were abandoned. In the middle of all of this is you - the last guardian of a mysterious ark, with your only weapon - the bombs that your suit produces.
