The game runs well on an entry-level GPU, with a minimum score of around 4875 necessary for decent performance. Players should consider a graphics card within the lower mid-tier segment, as even integrated solutions may struggle with higher settings. With only 3 GB RAM required, most modern PCs can handle the game's graphics settings with ease while delivering a smooth gameplay experience.
If you're a fan of RPGs and enjoy deep narratives blended with strategic gameplay, Daath Origins comes highly recommended. Its intriguing premise and engaging mechanics make it a worthwhile addition to any RPG enthusiast's library. The game offers a unique experience that is sure to resonate well with players seeking both challenge and story.
Performance profile
August 2017 release. Daath Origins was built around the GTX 10-series / RX Vega era. Current-gen mid-range cards (RTX 4060 / RX 7600) are overkill at 1080p and handle 1440p Ultra comfortably.
RPGs like Daath Origins stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.
Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Daath Origins; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.
