About

Femida, released in 2020, is an indie RPG that immerses players in the shoes of Judge Daemon Mardoch as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of his father during the Last Revolution. Set in a dystopian world with post-WWII technology and a noir aesthetic, this simulation game combines a gripping narrative with thought-provoking decision-making. Its unique premise and artistic style make it a standout experience for those interested in narrative-driven gameplay.

In terms of PC performance, Femida is quite accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 300. To get the best FPS while enjoying smooth gameplay, players should ideally use mid-tier GPUs that can handle the game's graphics settings effectively. A minimum of 4 GB RAM is necessary, but with a more robust setup, gamers can expect improved performance metrics and an overall better experience in this simulation.

With a rating of 70/100, Femida offers a compelling experience for fans of indie RPGs and simulation games. If you appreciate games that blend story and choice while maintaining an intriguing atmosphere, this title is worth exploring.

Performance profile

Released in January 2020, Femida targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

Simulation titles like Femida are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.

Extremely light — Femida runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

Femida - a nonlinear point-and-click indie game about justice where you play the role of a judge. Story-driven decision-based detective game experienced from a unique perspective. The videogame is set in a dystopic world of the State. The State has recently undergone a violent revolution and rapidly restructures. In a year, it transitioned from a totalitarian regime and now struggles to establish a republic. Provisional Government lustrated most of the public servants so capital needs fresh blood. You win the Labor Lottery to work at Metropolis(pretend you read these names for the first time), capital of the State. The hero, Daemon Mardoch, accepts the summon leaving countryside life with his wife and kids back in the Town. The transfer to Metropolis promises a fulfilling job, good money, and many opportunities. You were born there, your mother still resides in the capital and works for the government. But it's not the only reason you accepted the offer. Your father disappeared during the revolution and his fate is still unknown to this day.
