About
"Iron Onslaught," released in 2025, is an engaging strategy game that challenges players to survive against relentless waves of bots and mechs. The fast-paced gameplay mechanics encourage strategic planning and quick decision-making, as players must unlock new weapons and adapt their tactics to handle the ever-growing horde. This unique combination of strategy and action sets it apart within the genre and creates an exhilarating gaming experience.
To enjoy optimal performance in "Iron Onslaught," players should aim for an upper mid-range GPU, with a minimum score of around 22036 for smooth gameplay. If you're looking to achieve solid FPS and impressive graphics settings, consider investing in GPUs such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700. For the best experience, an 8 GB RAM setup is recommended, as it will help maintain stability during intense battles.
If you appreciate strategy games with a twist and enjoy tests of survival and endurance, "Iron Onslaught" is worth exploring. Its engaging gameplay and notable mechanics provide a thrilling experience for both casual and dedicated gamers alike.
Performance profile
April 2025 release. As a current-generation title, Iron Onslaught pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
As a strategy title, Iron Onslaught is typically CPU-bound rather than GPU-bound — single-thread CPU performance dictates framerate during large-scale battles, end-game saves and late-game AI turns. A fast modern 6-core will help more than a GPU upgrade.
Flagship-tier workload. Only the RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4090 and RX 7900 XTX sustain 60 FPS at 4K Ultra in Iron Onslaught natively. Mid-range hardware will lean heavily on DLSS, FSR or XeSS upscaling to stay playable at high resolutions.
Storyline
The more enemies you kill, the more weapons you unlock, and the more enemies that'll spawn (do keep in mind that the bots regularly launch into the air or towards you, and the mechs occasionally fly). Don't Die If you die, you lose everything, so make sure to watch your surroundings, otherwise you may get surrounded. Save Your Progress When you exit to main menu, your progress is saved for next time, but if you die or start a new game, that progress is deleted.
