About
For Keepers of the Keep, an entry-level GPU like the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT is sufficient for a smooth gaming experience. Given its casual RPG nature, the game is not particularly demanding, making it accessible to a wide range of players. With a minimum of 1 GB RAM, players can expect decent performance on lower settings, especially if they are using integrated graphics or older GPUs.
For those with mid-range graphics cards, such as the GTX 1660 or RX 6600, targeting 1080p resolution with medium settings will yield a visually pleasing experience while maintaining a stable frame rate. High-end GPUs can easily handle higher resolutions like 1440p or even 4K, maximizing graphical fidelity without sacrificing performance. Overall, Keepers of the Keep is a solid choice for casual gamers looking for a light RPG experience, and it's well-optimized for a variety of hardware configurations.
Performance profile
June 2026 release. As a current-generation title, Keepers of the Keep pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
RPGs like Keepers of the Keep stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.
Extremely light — Keepers of the Keep runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
When a thief comes to The Keep, only to be captured and forced to work off their debt, they must now make a new life for themselves in a strange new town. Keepers of the Keep uses a unique dice rolling feature, utilizing two six-sided dice that you will be rolling to decide the outcome of nearly every event in the game. How the dice land may be up to chance, but how you manage your stats as well as the items you carry/use will greatly turn the luck of the dice in your favor! Work during the day to earn your gold, shop and interact with the townsfolk during the afternoon to grow your stats, and go questing in the evening to end your day. There are a limited number of days in the game's narrative, so it's up to you to spend your time wisely as the game ticks down to one of many, many endings.
