About
Nigate Tale, released in 2024, is an action-adventure indie RPG that immerses players in a vibrant anime-inspired world filled with roguelike dungeon crawling. Set in a mystifying, procedurally generated castle, players must navigate through labyrinths while enlisting the help of enchanting monster girls who require strategic offerings to assist in the journey home. This unique blend of genres and colorful visuals make Nigate Tale a standout title for fans of imaginative gameplay.
In terms of PC performance, Nigate Tale is relatively accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 800 to run smoothly. Players with 2 GB of RAM and a basic graphics card should expect decent frame rates, particularly on lower graphics settings. For those looking to maximize their FPS, benchmarks suggest that mid-range GPUs from the recent generation will provide the best experience, allowing for more vibrant graphics and faster loads without compromising performance.
If you're a fan of action-packed indie titles or enjoy the challenge of roguelike gameplay, Nigate Tale is worth considering. Its engaging mechanics and charming aesthetics cater to a diverse audience, making it a compelling addition to your gaming library, especially if you're looking for fun, accessible gaming experiences.
Performance profile
September 2024 release. As a current-generation title, Nigate Tale pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
RPGs like Nigate Tale stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.
Extremely light — Nigate Tale runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
In Nigate Tale you play Roy, a young engineer who is dragged to a world of fantasy after passing through a strange cloud with his airplane. After crashing into the sewers of a castle, he discovers the place is inhabited by magical creatures he'd never seen before. Fortunately, some of the monster girls dwelling in the fortress are willing to help him! Explore this ever-changing castle to find all the missing parts and piece together the secret story of this place, unveiling the thousands-year-old mystery that trapped it out of time and space. Your mission won’t be easy: you’ll have to fight your way out of the labyrinthic corners of this castle full of monsters, traps, and all kinds of hazards. Every time you die, you will reappear in the same place, as in stuck in a neverending time loop… but the castle will have changed its layout, forcing you to begin your path anew!
