About

For a smooth experience with this turn-based RPG, a minimum entry-level GPU such as the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT is recommended. These cards should handle the game well at 1080p with medium settings, providing decent frame rates for the pixel art style. If you’re aiming for higher resolutions like 1440p, consider stepping up to a mid-range GPU, such as the RTX 3060 or RX 6600, which will allow for higher settings and smoother gameplay.

The game is designed to be accessible, making it a great option for players with budget systems. With 8 GB of RAM as the minimum requirement, most modern PCs should meet the specs without much hassle. If you're equipped with a more powerful setup, such as an RTX 3070 or RX 6700 XT, you can enjoy the title at maximum settings while maintaining high frame rates, enhancing the overall experience. Overall, this RPG offers a good balance of performance and accessibility, making it suitable for a wide range of gaming rigs.

Performance profile

April 2026 release. As a current-generation title, Order of the Ivy pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.

RPGs like Order of the Ivy stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.

Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Order of the Ivy; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.

Storyline

Kyle is an unemployed, alcoholic, 25 year old loser who lives with his mom. That is, until one fateful night, when he is transported to a far away, strange land: Tucson, Arizona. Here, he finds the world has radically changed, and evil feudal lords who call themselves the Quorum have taken over the world. After the Quorum’s Soldiers personally traumatize him, Kyle joins forces with three best friends, and together they embark on a quest to restore the balance of nature… And end the Quorum once and for all. And Kyle? Well… He makes it annoying the entire way.
