About
TrackDayR, released in 2021, is an exciting entry in the racing simulation genre, combining indie game charm with massively multiplayer elements. This early access title stands out as a comprehensive motorcycle simulator, allowing players to ride various types of motorbikes, including ATVs, three-wheelers, and sidecars. With its emphasis on community competition, players can challenge friends and climb global leaderboards, making every in-game session a thrilling challenge.
For players looking to run TrackDayR smoothly, the game's requirements are relatively accessible. An entry-level GPU with a benchmark score of around 5248 is recommended for optimal performance, along with a CPU that scores a minimum of 3652. A system equipped with at least 8 GB of RAM should handle most racing scenarios well, allowing players to enjoy high FPS and adjust graphics settings without major hiccups. Mid-range GPUs from the NVIDIA GTX 1050 or AMD RX 560 tiers are good choices for maintaining a solid frame rate.
If you’re a racing simulation enthusiast or just love competitive multiplayer gaming, TrackDayR could be an excellent addition to your library. While still in early access, it has garnered positive interest in the indie community, so if you appreciate a unique motorcycle riding experience, it’s worth giving this game a try.
Performance profile
Released in March 2021, TrackDayR targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.
Simulation titles like TrackDayR are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.
Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in TrackDayR; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.
Storyline
TrackDayR (TDR) was born from the minds and aspirations of three guys, bounded by a decade of friendship and a strong passion for motorcycles and simulation games. We found ourselves dreaming about a new game that could combine those two passions, a new game on the market that could satisfy our thirst of innovation. Given our past working and gaming experiences, we decided to take matters into our own hands to create the motorcycle simulation game we always wished for.
