About

Welcome to Paradise Island, an indie role-playing game and visual novel released in 2024, invites players to step into a whimsical vacation gone awry. As you and your friends are magically transported to a mysterious island, you must engage with the locals, gather vital resources, and develop Paradisiem Island into a lively tourist hotspot. This charming blend of adventure and management gameplay makes it stand out in the indie genre.

In terms of PC performance, Welcome to Paradise Island is quite accessible, requiring just an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 300 to achieve decent graphical fidelity. With a minimum of 4 GB of RAM, players can expect a stable frame rate with the right settings, allowing for an enjoyable experience. For those looking to optimize their FPS, consider GPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or GTX 1050 Ti, which can handle the game's visuals seamlessly while providing solid performance metrics.

Should you play it? If you appreciate indie games that blend storytelling with light simulation elements, Welcome to Paradise Island is highly recommended. With positive ratings and its engaging narrative, it's an excellent choice for gamers seeking a captivating escape.

Performance profile

August 2024 release. As a current-generation title, Welcome to Paradise Island pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.

RPGs like Welcome to Paradise Island stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.

Extremely light — Welcome to Paradise Island runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

It's summer. You and your friends are on vacation, when suddenly the sea carries your boat away to an unknown island in another world. This island—Paradisiem Island—is small, with one village. According to the village chief, the island's Guardian Deity foresaw the arrival of you and your friends, and they want you to help the island return to its former glory. Without more tourists, there aren't enough people to worship the Guardian Deity, whose powers you need to return to your home world. Work together with your friends, Sahoto, Mei, and Chiyo, as well as some new friends you make on the island, to help it grow and prosper into a popular tourist destination!
