About
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links (2016) is a free-to-play digital collectible card game developed by Konami that brings the classic Trading Card Game to PC, mobile, and console platforms. The strategy-focused gameplay features iconic characters and duels from the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime series, letting players build decks and compete against AI and other players.
This game is extremely accessible on PC, requiring only entry-level GPU hardware with a benchmark score around 303 to run smoothly. You'll need at least 4GB of RAM and a modest CPU with a score of approximately 2225 to maintain solid FPS performance. Even older graphics cards and budget systems will deliver stable frame rates, making it one of the least demanding titles to benchmark and test, with minimal graphics settings to adjust.
If you enjoy strategic card games and collectible content, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links offers engaging gameplay worth exploring. With a solid 72/100 rating, it's a worthwhile free-to-play experience for fans of the franchise and strategy genre alike.
Performance profile
Released in November 2016, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links sits in the DirectX 11 generation. Comfortable on any modern mid-range GPU at 1440p; even an RTX 3050 or RX 6600 typically delivers 4K60 at High settings.
As a strategy title, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is typically CPU-bound rather than GPU-bound — single-thread CPU performance dictates framerate during large-scale battles, end-game saves and late-game AI turns. A fast modern 6-core will help more than a GPU upgrade.
Extremely light — Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
Duel Links features characters from the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime series. Seto Kaiba has created a virtual reality "Duel World" in order to gather the best duelists so they can compete. Players first have the option to play as either Yami Yugi or Seto Kaiba. As they continue to win duels, other characters become unlocked, including the character the player did not choose at the beginning.
