About

Cloudpunk is a 2020 indie adventure game that blends RPG elements with a neon-noir narrative set in a cyberpunk metropolis. You play as a delivery driver for the titular service, navigating a rain-drenched city while uncovering an intriguing story about mysterious packages and corporate intrigue. The game's pixel art aesthetic and atmospheric world-building make it a memorable experience despite its indie origins.

This is an accessible title that won't demand cutting-edge hardware. The minimum GPU requirement sits around entry-level performance with a score of 5550, while the CPU needs roughly 2872 in benchmark terms, paired with 8 GB of RAM. Most modern budget GPUs will handle this game comfortably at high settings and maintain solid FPS performance, making it a great option if you're testing older hardware or building a budget gaming PC.

With a rating of 71/100, Cloudpunk offers a solid adventure for fans of cyberpunk storytelling and pixel art aesthetics. If atmospheric indie narratives appeal to you, it's worth experiencing on nearly any modern gaming setup.

Performance profile

Released in April 2020, Cloudpunk targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

RPGs like Cloudpunk stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.

Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Cloudpunk; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.

Storyline

Your name is Rania. This is your first night working for Cloudpunk, the semi-legal delivery company based in the sprawling city of Nivalis. You go everywhere, from the Marrow below to the spires that pierce the grey clouds high above before scraping the edge of the troposphere. No delivery job is too dangerous, and no one is faster than a Cloudpunk driver. In this story-based exploration game, you will meet a diverse range of characters including androids, AI and unscrupulous humans at every level of society. Everyone has a story, and in the course of one night in Nivalis, everything will change.
