About
Etrian Odyssey III HD, released in 2023, is an adventure RPG that immerses players in the rich narrative of Armoroad, a sea city grappling with the aftermath of a great calamity. Players build their own party of explorers from twelve distinct character classes as they navigate the treacherous labyrinth that conceals the secrets of both Armoroad and a sunken city. With remastered graphics and a revitalized soundtrack, this title stands out in the series for enhancing the classic formula.
In terms of PC performance, Etrian Odyssey III HD is quite accessible, making it an excellent choice for gamers with varying hardware capabilities. The minimum requirement calls for an entry-level GPU, achieving a score of around 475, which allows for adequate FPS even on lower settings. Players can expect smooth gameplay on systems equipped with 4 GB of RAM and a modest GPU, ensuring a solid benchmark experience without needing high-end components.
Given its high ratings and captivating genre, Etrian Odyssey III HD is a worthy addition to any RPG enthusiast's library. Its combination of strategic exploration and character customization appeals to both new players and series veterans alike, making it a must-try for fans of adventure gaming.
Performance profile
June 2023 release. As a current-generation title, Etrian Odyssey III HD pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
RPGs like Etrian Odyssey III HD stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.
Extremely light — Etrian Odyssey III HD runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Set sail to Armoroad to navigate the Yggdrasil Labyrinth, find the drowned city, and win fortune and glory!
