Performance profile
September 2024 release. As a current-generation title, Fake Ducks: Spooky Chronicles pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
RPGs like Fake Ducks: Spooky Chronicles stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.
Extremely light — Fake Ducks: Spooky Chronicles runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
A group of friends participate in an escape room but things do not go entirely as planned. Three of them are attacked by a demon, while the others will do anything to save them. An exorcist priest helps them by giving them an ancient pendant capable of giving them powers to fight the adversities they will encounter on their journey. In fact, shortly afterwards they discover that there is much more behind it: a mysterious hooded man begins to intrude into their lives claiming to be looking for fragments of an ancient dark amulet in their possession. This is how the incredible story of “Fake Ducks: Spooky Chronicles” begins. From here on, the purpose of the group of friends will be to retrieve the amulet fragments before the hooded man and face the monstrosities and obstacles he summons, so as to prevent the return of a very powerful dark demon.
