About
"In Next Life," released in 2026, is an intriguing blend of adventure, simulation, and RPG elements set in a world where players must embrace crafting and survival. The game invites players to begin their journey at the stone age level, gradually advancing through collaboration and innovation with fellow villagers. This dynamic fosters a rich multiplayer experience, making teamwork crucial for survival while also allowing for solo play, albeit at a greater challenge.
From a performance perspective, "In Next Life" is designed to be accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 1500 and at least 4 GB of RAM. Players looking to achieve smooth FPS can expect to run the game well on affordable hardware, such as budget-friendly GPUs like the GTX 1050 or equivalent. Adjusting graphics settings can further enhance performance, ensuring a stable gameplay experience even on lower-end systems.
With an engaging premise and collaboration at its core, "In Next Life" is a recommended title for fans of indie RPGs and survival games. Its emphasis on community and crafting elements, combined with accessible performance requirements, makes it a worthwhile addition to your gaming library.
Performance profile
February 2026 release. As a current-generation title, In Next Life pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
Simulation titles like In Next Life are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.
Extremely light — In Next Life runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
You start most lives as a baby, who has to have help from adults to survive the first few minutes. Then you age and become an adult yourself (and may have other players as children). If you are skillful, you may be able to live until old age before you die. If not, then you can just try again. This is a survival game where it is fine to die now and then (sometimes your tribe's survival may depend on your sacrifice...). You can always experience more "In Next Life"! In the grand scheme of things, you are an immortal spirit who loves everything about mortal life and wants to learn and experience as much as possible. You start by living the early stages of human civilization, then as your skills and knowledge grows, new ages of civilization will open up. No matter what stage of civilization you find yourself, it will always be valuable to collaborate with other players. That's how you and the civilization you are part of evolve most efficiently. The experiences you gain while living accumulate over all your lives, and will allow you to improve your crafting skills and become a more valuable tribe member.
