About
Order from Caos (2020) is an engaging adventure RPG that weaves an epic tale full of twists and emotional depth. Players follow Dan, a young man cursed by darkness, as he embarks on a quest to discover a cure while confronting the malevolent force known as CAOS. The game blends casual and indie elements, making it notable for its compelling storytelling and immersive world.
In terms of PC performance, Order from Caos is quite accessible, requiring just an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 500 to deliver satisfactory graphics settings and frame rates. Players can expect to achieve playable FPS even on modest hardware, such as older NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 or AMD Radeon HD 7750 cards. With just 2 GB of RAM required, the game runs smoothly on a variety of setups, making it a great choice for gamers with budget-friendly rigs.
If you enjoy narrative-driven games and appreciate artistic indie titles, Order from Caos comes highly recommended. Its unique blend of adventure and RPG elements, combined with solid ratings from players, makes it worth exploring as you dive into its captivating storyline and rich gameplay.
Performance profile
Released in June 2020, Order from Caos targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.
RPGs like Order from Caos stress VRAM during long sessions — texture streaming, mods and open-world traversal inflate memory use over time. 8 GB VRAM is a practical floor; 12 GB+ is worth the headroom at 1440p and above.
Extremely light — Order from Caos runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
Order from Caos is an epic tale of a man who got his life changed by an evil entity whose sole purpose is to destroy everything humankind has ever built. Dan, the main protagonist, feels as if he was cursed by this being and tries to find a way to bring him down. He will travel alongside a few companions, all with similar stories of loss like his. He never thought actually of having a group or even a family, but he will find something greater than vengeance to fight for: love. In the meantime, while trying to gather the support of every nation of this world, Dan must protect those he love and also himself, not knowing that perhaps this evil instinct may be within... Follow the path of an ordinary man who can overcome extraordinary things. Order from Caos is strongly inspired by the true JRPG classics.
