About

To run 3 Nights of Terror smoothly, a mid-range GPU like the RTX 4060 or RX 7600 is recommended. These graphics cards will handle the game's stylized visuals while maintaining decent frame rates. For players aiming for a good experience at 1080p, these GPUs should allow settings to be cranked up to high without significant drops in performance, making it accessible for most gamers.

For those with more powerful setups, resolutions up to 1440p can be targeted, where you can still expect solid performance with high settings. However, if you're working with lower-end hardware or integrated graphics, consider lowering the resolution and details to achieve a playable frame rate. Overall, the game is designed to be demanding yet accessible, making it a solid choice for both casual players and those looking for a visually engaging experience.

Performance profile

February 2026 release. As a current-generation title, 3 Nights of Terror pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.

3 Nights of Terror is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.

High-end requirement. 3 Nights of Terror needs an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 7800 XT for comfortable 1440p 60 FPS at High settings. 4K Ultra 60 FPS is flagship territory — RTX 4080 Super / RX 7900 XTX minimum without upscaling.

Storyline

Scott Harris is a dedicated police officer at the local Rockville Police Department. Lately, his toughest fight has begun in his own mind. He suffers from severe Parasomnia, a sleep disorder that leaves him exhausted in terrifying nightmares. His hope lies in an experimental brain surgery scheduled in three days. This is his last chance to reclaim control over his mind and escape the horrifying nightmares that plague him. Until then, Harris has to endure three more nights of pure terror. Every time Harris falls asleep, he is trapped in strange and terrifying dreams. The only thing guiding him is his blurry memories of police work, pushing him to keep going and find answers. But with each night, the nightmares feel more real, and the line between dream and reality starts to disappear. Who can he trust when even his own mind turns against him? Let’s guide him in the psychological horror nightmares and ensure he wakes up in the morning!
