About

All My Gods, released in 2012, is an engaging adventure simulator that immerses players in the world of the Roman pantheon. In this unique time management game, players take on the role of a god, tasked with managing their very own Roman city while balancing various divine responsibilities. Notable for its blend of strategy and whimsical humor, All My Gods offers players a chance to explore customer interactions and city-building mechanics.

When it comes to PC performance, All My Gods is relatively accessible, making it suitable for players with entry-level GPUs. With a minimum GPU requirement scoring around 50, you can expect decent FPS even on budget graphics cards. Players aiming for a smoother experience should consider mid-tier GPUs to better handle graphics settings, which can enhance overall gameplay without needing a high-end setup.

Overall, the game holds a respectable rating of 70/100, which reflects its enjoyable gameplay and intriguing premise. If you appreciate strategy and simulation games with a touch of adventure, All My Gods could be a worthwhile addition to your gaming library, especially for players looking for a lighter, yet still engaging experience.

Performance profile

February 2012 release. All My Gods targets mid-2000s-to-early-2010s hardware — any modern entry-level GPU (GTX 1650 tier or newer integrated graphics) handles it at 1080p Ultra without breaking a sweat.

As a strategy title, All My Gods is typically CPU-bound rather than GPU-bound — single-thread CPU performance dictates framerate during large-scale battles, end-game saves and late-game AI turns. A fast modern 6-core will help more than a GPU upgrade.

Extremely light — All My Gods runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

Even gods grow old. So does Saturn, one of the oldest gods of Rome. He decides to retire, and wants his son to take his place. The council of the gods respectfully accepts his will and welcomes an heir to take Saturn’s place on one condition. He has to prove that he is worthy of their trust and divine powers he is about to receive. The future seems bright and glorious for the son of Saturn. But not all the great gods are willing to welcome newcomers at the Capitoline Hill. Mars — the god of war loses his temper every time he hears someone speak about the newbie. On top of that our hero falls in love with Mars’s beloved Venus and Mars swears to never allow the youngling become a god.
