About
"Bank Robber," released in 2023, is an action-adventure indie game that takes players into the heart of a meticulously crafted bank heist. Players assume the role of Harry, a cunning bank robber who devises a plan to exploit the bank's visitation day, studying routines and executing a series of strategic actions. Its blend of casual gameplay with immersive strategy elements makes it notable, appealing to a wide range of gamers seeking both excitement and thoughtful planning.
In terms of PC performance, "Bank Robber" is designed to be accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 800 to run smoothly. With just 4 GB of RAM, the game can achieve satisfactory FPS even on modest hardware, catering to casual gamers and those looking to enjoy a unique indie title. For optimal performance and higher graphics settings, a mid-tier GPU is advisable, ensuring a fluid gaming experience without compromising visual quality.
Should you play "Bank Robber"? If you enjoy casual yet strategically engaging games, this title is worth your time, especially given its positive ratings among players. It's an inviting option for anyone interested in blending action with clever planning, all while keeping your PC's performance demands in check.
Performance profile
February 2023 release. As a current-generation title, Bank Robber pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
As a strategy title, Bank Robber is typically CPU-bound rather than GPU-bound — single-thread CPU performance dictates framerate during large-scale battles, end-game saves and late-game AI turns. A fast modern 6-core will help more than a GPU upgrade.
Extremely light — Bank Robber runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
The game takes place on a bank, in the center of the city, where you can explore various areas of the bank, as long as you have the appropriate access card, thus having different levels of security. In addition to that, you must complete some objectives to complete your mission. You will only have a rifle and a pistol as work tool, and you should assemble a strategy to position it properly, as the bank has metal detectors. You will have to face an area full of security, with strategy. You will control Harry, in first person and you will have to do some tasks to successfully complete the robbery, disguising yourself as a bank clerk and arriving at the vault at the right time, all this with a lot of action, since the bank will be full of security guards, making it possible for you to complete your objective stealthily, without drawing too much attention. Enter the bank, loot the safe and try to get out alive. The game experience provides a mix of strategy with a little suspense and action.
