About

Bone Marrow, released in 2020, is an innovative role-playing board puzzle game that blends adventure, strategy, and casual gameplay. Players must think critically as they combine figures, enhance their characteristics, and navigate a world filled with challenges and evil forces. This unique blend of genres makes Bone Marrow a standout title, encouraging players to make strategic choices that can have irreversible consequences.

When it comes to PC performance, Bone Marrow is quite accessible, requiring a minimum of an entry-level GPU with a benchmark score of around 300 and just 1 GB of RAM. This means that even budget gaming setups can run the game smoothly, offering a decent FPS experience even without high-end hardware. For players aiming for a stable and enjoyable experience, GPUs in the lower tier, such as the Nvidia GTX 1050 or equivalent, should handle the graphics settings with ease.

If you're a fan of strategy and puzzle games, Bone Marrow is definitely worth a try. With its innovative gameplay mechanics and engaging storyline, it appeals to a diverse audience and has received positive ratings within its genre. Checking performance benchmarks for your specific setup can ensure an enjoyable gameplay experience.

Performance profile

Released in March 2020, Bone Marrow targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

As a strategy title, Bone Marrow is typically CPU-bound rather than GPU-bound — single-thread CPU performance dictates framerate during large-scale battles, end-game saves and late-game AI turns. A fast modern 6-core will help more than a GPU upgrade.

Extremely light — Bone Marrow runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

The "2048" traditional version proposes to combine numbers in pairs. The meaning of the Bone Marrow game has not changed but the numbers have been replaced with objects, and using their combination, you can create better weapons, shields and potions, which will lead to an increase in your attack and defense. In addition, monsters appeared; having done away with which ones, you will replenish your account. Such seemingly simple changes allow to significantly revive the familiar puzzle, and give it a completely different look. Bone Marrow is suitable for those who prefer turn-based missions rather than the endless movement of elements on the field. Here, on each card, you need to score a certain number of points, afterwards, you can switch to a new one. It all is arranged as a journey to different places of the Middle Ages that should be cleared from evil creatures.
