About

For optimal performance in Cards and Dungeons, a minimum entry-level GPU such as the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT is recommended. This game is designed to be accessible, making it suitable for a wide range of hardware. With these graphics cards, players can expect to run the game smoothly at 1080p on medium settings, ensuring a fluid experience during intense action sequences and strategic card play.

For those with more powerful setups, like a GTX 1660 or RTX 2060, you can easily push the settings to high at 1080p or even venture into 1440p while maintaining good frame rates. This added graphical fidelity enhances the vibrant art style and animations without compromising gameplay. Overall, the game is friendly to both casual and competitive gamers, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy a mix of strategy and action in a roguelike format.

Performance profile

March 2026 release. As a current-generation title, Cards and Dungeons pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.

Action titles like Cards and Dungeons reward high framerates for visual clarity during combat. A mid-range modern GPU at 1440p 60–120 FPS is the practical sweet spot; VRR (G-Sync/FreeSync) smooths out drops during heavy effects.

Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Cards and Dungeons; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.

Storyline

Cards and Dungeons is a roguelike dungeon crawler that blends strategic card play with fast-paced action. Choose your hero, equip your deck, and descend through ever-changing dungeons filled with monsters, traps, and brutal bosses. Every run is a test of survival, strategy, and risk management. CHOOSE YOUR HERO Start your adventure with one of several heroes, each armed with a distinctive ability and playstyle. Unlock more characters as you progress, opening new ways to conquer the dungeon. MASTER THE CARDS Each hero has a basic attack, but true power comes from the cards you assign. Equip up to three cards per run—ranging from devastating attacks to tactical abilities—and use mana to unleash them in battle. Beware: every card played pushes a hidden counter forward, and once it triggers, a random punishment will strike. Cards give you immediate strength, but carry long-term risks. DESCEND INTO DEADLY DUNGEONS Procedurally generated floors offer fresh challenges every run. Encounter dangerous biomes, shifting layouts, cunning traps, and enemies that become deadlier the deeper you go. Survive long enough, and you’ll face powerful bosses guarding the path forward. LOOT, UPGRADE, AND GROW STRONGER Collect gold to purchase upgrades, mana to power your abilities, and experience gems to level up your heroes. Between runs, expand your arsenal with new cards, improve your characters, and unlock permanent upgrades to push even deeper. BUILT FOR REPLAYABILITY With multiple heroes, hundreds of card combinations, random events, punishing drawbacks, and procedurally generated dungeons, no two runs are ever the same. Test your strategies, refine your builds, and challenge higher difficulties as you master the game. The dungeon awaits—will you conquer the final floor, or be lost to the depths?
