About
Crossbow: Bloodnight, released in 2020, is a thrilling action game that blends frantic score-attack mechanics with an arena shooter format. Set in a unique world steeped in camp horror and gore, players harness the powers of an automatic crossbow to combat waves of relentless demonic foes. The game’s intense gameplay loop of hunting, dying, and hunting again keeps players engaged and adds a layer of challenge that is both rewarding and addictive.
For optimal performance in Crossbow: Bloodnight, players should consider hardware that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of an entry-level GPU with a score around 631 and a CPU score of approximately 3049. With the right setup, gamers can expect to achieve smooth FPS even on moderately demanding settings. Players with 4 GB of RAM will have an easier time running the game efficiently, making it accessible for a wider range of systems, while higher-end GPUs can unlock better graphics settings and increased frames per second for a more immersive experience.
If you're a fan of action-packed gameplay with a unique blend of horror and humor, Crossbow: Bloodnight is definitely worth playing. With its engaging mechanics and solid ratings, it promises a thrilling ride for players looking for both challenge and fun in their gaming sessions.
Performance profile
Released in September 2020, Crossbow: Bloodnight targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.
Action titles like Crossbow: Bloodnight reward high framerates for visual clarity during combat. A mid-range modern GPU at 1440p 60–120 FPS is the practical sweet spot; VRR (G-Sync/FreeSync) smooths out drops during heavy effects.
Extremely light — Crossbow: Bloodnight runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
In the year 1139, the Second Council of the Lateran convened by Pope Innocent II has pronounced anathema on the use of crossbow. The council saw its unstoppable power as ungodly, demonic by nature. They were not entirely wrong. The Coven of Crossbow, an ancient order of hunters sworn to guard the balance between the forces of heaven and hell prevailed against all odds. In the year 1666, as fire and plague ravage London, the Coven is facing its greatest challenge yet. The Ancient Horror from Beyond makes its way towards our reality. In its wake, legions of nightmare creatures spawn in the darkness. The Bloodnight is upon us, let the hunt begin!
