About
Dragon Ball: The Breakers, released in 2022, is an exciting entry in the fighting genre that introduces players to an asymmetrical action experience. In this game, seven everyday humans must band together to survive against a formidable Raider, such as Cell or Frieza, who transforms into an unstoppable force. This unique gameplay dynamic sets it apart from traditional Dragon Ball titles, offering a fresh take on the franchise while maintaining its iconic characters.
When it comes to PC performance, Dragon Ball: The Breakers is relatively accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 5968 and a CPU score of approximately 5822. Players will need at least 8 GB of RAM to keep the game running smoothly. For optimal FPS and graphics settings, a mid-range GPU is recommended to fully enjoy the game’s visuals while maintaining competitive performance. Benchmark tests suggest that even modest systems can achieve reasonable frame rates, making it viable for a broad audience.
Overall, Dragon Ball: The Breakers is worth considering, especially for fans of the franchise or asymmetrical multiplayer experiences. With a rating of 70/100, it offers enjoyable gameplay balancing cooperative survival against a powerful opponent, making it an engaging option for both casual and competitive gamers alike.
Performance profile
Released in October 2022, Dragon Ball: The Breakers targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.
Fighting games live and die by latency. Dragon Ball: The Breakers plays best at a locked 60 FPS with VSync off on a low-input-lag monitor; dropped frames are far more damaging than slightly lower resolution.
Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Dragon Ball: The Breakers; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.
Storyline
Caught in an unexpected temporal phenomenon, seven ordinary citizens find themselves stranded in a Temporal Seam: they share their imprisonment with the Raider, a menacing enemy from another timeline with an overwhelming power. Their only hope for survival is to break out from the Temporal Seam with the Super Time Machine, but the Raider is on their tracks and becomes stronger by the minute. In a race against time the cunning of Survivors clashes with the power of the Raider, to break free or be broken.
