About
To enjoy the game smoothly, an entry-level GPU such as the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT is recommended for minimum performance. These cards will allow you to run the game at lower settings and resolutions, likely around 1080p with medium graphics. For a better experience, particularly in a multiplayer setting where smooth performance is crucial, a mid-range GPU like the RTX 3060 or RX 6600 is a smart choice. This will enable higher settings and improved frame rates, making the chaotic gameplay more enjoyable.
The overall requirements suggest that the game is designed to be accessible, allowing a wider range of players to join in on the fun without needing top-tier hardware. If you have a more powerful GPU, you can look forward to playing at 1440p or even 4K with adjusted settings. In summary, while entry-level hardware can handle the game, those looking for a more immersive and visually appealing experience should aim for a mid-range GPU or higher.
Performance profile
July 2026 release. As a current-generation title, DREGS pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
DREGS is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.
Mid-range territory. An RTX 3060 or RX 6700 XT delivers 60 FPS at 1080p High in DREGS. For 1440p Ultra you'll want an RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT; 4K Ultra needs an RTX 4070 Ti or faster.
Storyline
A multiplayer co-op horror-comedy about a crew of clones recovering priceless relics from abandoned deep-space facilities. And by "priceless relics," we mean rubber ducks, plush toys, scented candles, and whatever else humanity left behind. A mysterious client is paying absurd amounts of money for these ancient artifacts. Nobody knows why and nobody gets paid enough to ask. Enter dangerous derelicts, find valuable relics, and get them back to extraction before everything goes catastrophically wrong.
