About
For an optimal experience with this fast-paced top-down shooter, a mid-range GPU like the RTX 4060 or RX 7600 is recommended. These graphics cards provide sufficient power to handle the game’s dynamic visuals and high-intensity action without significant frame drops. While the minimum requirement allows for playable frame rates, aiming for a more powerful GPU will enhance performance, especially in chaotic scenes with numerous projectiles and explosions.
Players with mid-range setups can expect to run the game smoothly at 1080p with high settings, achieving a stable frame rate that keeps up with the fast action. Those with higher-end GPUs, such as the RTX 4070 or RX 7700, can target 1440p resolution or even 4K with adjusted settings. The game is designed to be accessible, making it suitable for a wide range of hardware configurations, but maximizing the visual fidelity will require a more robust setup.
Overall, if you have a mid-range GPU and at least 16 GB of RAM, you should enjoy a solid gameplay experience. For the best performance and visual quality, consider investing in a slightly more powerful graphics card, especially if you plan to play at higher resolutions or want to future-proof your setup for upcoming updates.
Performance profile
August 2025 release. As a current-generation title, Gigantes Ex Machina pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
Simulation titles like Gigantes Ex Machina are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.
High-end requirement. Gigantes Ex Machina needs an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 7800 XT for comfortable 1440p 60 FPS at High settings. 4K Ultra 60 FPS is flagship territory — RTX 4080 Super / RX 7900 XTX minimum without upscaling.
Storyline
In a future world devastated by endless wars between nations and megacorporations, humanity, driven by escalating arms races, excavates the ancient weapon “Gaia” long buried beneath the earth. What they uncover, however, turns out to be a catastrophe incarnate. Facing extinction, nations and corporations form a temporary alliance to resist Gaia. Decades later, the player awakens as an experimental candidate for “Anima,” a pilot of the next-generation weapon system known as Gigas, and takes their first step into this age of chaos.
