Performance profile

September 2023 release. As a current-generation title, Go for a Punch! Saki Sanobashi pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.

Go for a Punch! Saki Sanobashi is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.

Extremely light — Go for a Punch! Saki Sanobashi runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

Years ago, a dark legend spread through the deepest corners of the Internet, specifically on the /x/ board of 4chan. There, an anonymous user first spoke about an old and unknown anime called "Go for a Punch." Despite the efforts of those interested in recovering this anime since 2011, the original video never saw the light of day. The plot of the video was as follows: "A group of school teenagers finds themselves locked inside a closed room, a public restroom with no doors or windows to escape from. As they debate the possibility of never being able to leave that restroom, they progressively lose their sanity to the point of resorting to suicide due to desperation and hunger..." The Visual Novel will pick up on the mentioned plot, introducing slight twists and changes to the story, following the pattern usually found in Lost Media discoveries. It is a realm where human memory often falters, allowing for diverse interpretations to emerge from those imperfect recollections. These variations add depth and originality to the unfolding narrative, creating a captivating and ever-evolving experience.
