About

Graviter, released in 2020, is an innovative adventure puzzle game that revolves around manipulating gravitational forces to navigate through a multitude of creative challenges. Players can shrink and enlarge objects, using physics to solve puzzles across over a hundred levels, making it an engaging experience for fans of indie games and simulation genres. The unique mechanics and intriguing gameplay set it apart from traditional titles, offering a fresh take on the puzzle-solving experience.

In terms of PC performance, Graviter is designed to be accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 300 to run smoothly. This means that even lower-end systems can achieve playable frame rates, generally hitting around 30 FPS or more at lower graphics settings. With just 1 GB of RAM required, players can enjoy excellent performance on older hardware without the need for high-end specifications, making it a great option for casual gamers.

Should you play Graviter? If you appreciate physics-based puzzles and indie adventure games, it is worth exploring. Its clever gameplay mechanics, combined with positive ratings, make it a standout choice for players looking for a fresh gaming experience without demanding hardware requirements.

Performance profile

Released in April 2020, Graviter targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

Simulation titles like Graviter are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.

Extremely light — Graviter runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

You play as a comet lost in the galaxy trying to find your lost kitty back. For yet unknown reason - the cat left you parts of the galaxy's map. Only collecting all the parts will lead you back to the kitty. To do so you have to learn how to manipulate gravity to your side whlist obeying laws of nature. Exploit Newtonian equations to its limit. The kitty is waiting.
