About

Horror Globes, released in 2020, is a first-person horror adventure game that immerses players in a chilling atmosphere built around collectible snow globes containing eerie short stories. With a focus on spatial sound and a haunting Halloween vibe, this game invites players to explore their worst nightmares as they interact with the carefully crafted environment. The unique approach to storytelling through these globes sets Horror Globes apart from typical horror titles.

When it comes to PC performance, Horror Globes is quite accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum score of approximately 2402. Players with at least 6 GB of RAM can expect decent performance, achieving respectable FPS even on modest hardware. For optimal gaming experience, a mid-range GPU is recommended to enhance graphics settings and ensure smooth gameplay, especially if you aim for high fidelity in the atmospheric visuals.

If you're a fan of the horror genre or enjoy atmospheric adventures, Horror Globes is worth a try. Its engaging audio-visual presentation and unique storytelling approach provide a fresh experience, making it a solid choice for your gaming library, especially if you're looking for shorter, impactful narratives.

Performance profile

Released in October 2020, Horror Globes targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

Horror Globes is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.

Extremely light — Horror Globes runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

All the villages have stories about the town or its inhabitants. Stories about ghosts, haunted houses, crimes,... Stories of implausible things that an acquaintance claims to have lived, but no one has ever seen. However, what happens here is manifested on a daily basis. Those bloody footprints with deformed nails appear without warning and drive the animals crazy. Recently several horses ran amok and appeared in the vicinity of the forest open in channel. The viscera was intact but all the bones were missing, I don't know what kind of creature can do this with such precision. Horror Globes is a short first-person horror adventure with special attention to spatial sound and atmospheric Halloween. It belongs to a collection of short horror stories contained in collectible snow globes. Do you dare to disturb your nightmares? Immerse yourself into the atmosphere of this story as you explore an old property set apart during the night of Halloween. Join Allan, an 8-year-old boy who wanders from door to door asking for tricks or treats. Taking advantage of an oversight, he sneaks onto an old lady's property to look for her secret homemade candies. Soon he will discover some macabre events that will be repeated in his head forever.
