About
Last Day of June is a 2017 indie adventure game that delivers a deeply emotional, narrative-driven experience centered on love and loss. Rather than traditional gameplay mechanics, the game emphasizes storytelling and player choice as you navigate an interactive cinematic adventure. The artistic presentation and poignant premise have earned the game a solid 75/100 rating, making it a memorable experience for players who value atmosphere and emotional depth over action.
From a performance standpoint, Last Day of June is highly accessible to PC gamers. You'll need at minimum an entry-level GPU with a benchmark score around 4875 and 4 GB of RAM to meet the minimum specifications. Even modest graphics cards will deliver smooth FPS performance at standard settings, making this a great benchmark title for testing older or budget hardware. The game isn't demanding, so you can expect stable framerates even on lower-tier GPUs without sacrificing visual quality.
If you're looking for an indie title with artistic merit and emotional storytelling, Last Day of June is absolutely worth playing. The game's strong narrative focus makes it ideal for players who prioritize meaningful gameplay experiences over high-octane action sequences.
Performance profile
August 2017 release. Last Day of June was built around the GTX 10-series / RX Vega era. Current-gen mid-range cards (RTX 4060 / RX 7600) are overkill at 1080p and handle 1440p Ultra comfortably.
Last Day of June is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.
Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Last Day of June; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.
Storyline
Last Day of June is centred around a couple called Carl and June, who suffer a tragedy when a car accident takes June's life and leaves Carl in a wheelchair. Carl then explores past memories of his life with June and attempts to solve puzzles to change the sequence of events that led up to June's death.
