Performance profile
February 2024 release. As a current-generation title, MerFight pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
Action titles like MerFight reward high framerates for visual clarity during combat. A mid-range modern GPU at 1440p 60–120 FPS is the practical sweet spot; VRR (G-Sync/FreeSync) smooths out drops during heavy effects.
High-end requirement. MerFight needs an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 7800 XT for comfortable 1440p 60 FPS at High settings. 4K Ultra 60 FPS is flagship territory — RTX 4080 Super / RX 7900 XTX minimum without upscaling.
Storyline
In the earliest of days, the three ancients oversaw all life. The ancients, The Aquatic, The Terrestrial, and The Empyrean were each a transfiguration of 3 separate elements, holding the world in balance. One day, an ancient shark warrior manifested the Celestial Tide, an atmospheric pool of water, causing all those in the land and sky to perish. This action caused The Terrestrial and Empyrean to disappear as well, leaving The Aquatic as the sole life force. As The Aquatic was forced to become all 9 elements, it punished all life in the ocean by forcing them onto the land. Harmony between the 9 elements hangs by a fine string - this is the story of trying to recapture a balance that is almost undone.
