About

My Diggy Dog 2, released in 2020, combines action, adventure, and simulation elements to create an engaging digger-platformer experience. Players embark on a charming journey, exploring dungeons packed with challenging puzzles, hidden artifacts, and a variety of equipment. Its colorful graphics and unique design make it notable in the indie game scene, appealing to both casual and hardcore gamers alike.

For gamers looking to run My Diggy Dog 2 smoothly, the hardware requirements are quite accessible. An entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 631 is sufficient, making it easy to achieve decent FPS across various graphics settings. With just 4 GB of RAM required, even mid-range PCs should deliver solid performance, allowing players to enjoy the game's immersive world without the need for high-end components.

If you enjoy exploration, puzzles, and relaxing gameplay, My Diggy Dog 2 is definitely worth playing. With positive ratings and its appealing indie charm, it provides a delightful experience for fans of action-adventure games looking for a casual yet engaging title.

Performance profile

Released in January 2020, My Diggy Dog 2 targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

Simulation titles like My Diggy Dog 2 are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.

Extremely light — My Diggy Dog 2 runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

A couple of adventurers named Christopher and Clara once traveled the world in search of ancient treasure and the secrets of the universe. During one of their expeditions they met a cute puppy and named him Marty. Since then he has always traveled with them and is passionate about adventure and digging. While hunting down a mysterious artifact called the Heart of Space, Clara suddenly disappeared. Exhausted from searching, Christopher returned to camp, where his faithful friend Marty was looking for him. Heartbroken, the experienced adventurer almost gave up on archaeology. But Marty noticed that his friend was sad, so he became courageous and went alone to look for Clara. The dog found an ancient map with the words "Heart of Space” and something resembling a portal on it. He brought the map to Christopher, which made him excited. Plucking up their courage, Christopher and Marty decided to finish what they'd started and find the portal to the Heart of Space. Who knows? Maybe this ancient artifact will help them find out what happened to Clara.
