About

Neverout, released in 2017, is an innovative blend of adventure, puzzle, and simulator genres that immerses players in a unique and surreal escape room experience. The game challenges players with reality-bending mechanics, intricate traps, and mind-bending puzzles that require creative problem-solving and quick thinking. With a rating of 70/100, Neverout stands out for its captivating setting and gameplay that push the limits of imagination.

When it comes to PC performance, Neverout is relatively accessible, making it suitable for a broad range of gaming hardware. To achieve smooth gameplay and decent FPS, players should consider a minimum GPU score of around 300, utilizing entry-level graphics cards, while also ensuring their CPU score is at least 2628. Additionally, having 8 GB of RAM is essential for optimal performance, allowing you to enjoy the game without significant frame drops on medium graphics settings.

If you're a fan of adventure and puzzle games and appreciate unique gaming experiences, Neverout is definitely worth playing. Its intriguing gameplay and mind-bending puzzles make it an engaging choice for players looking to test their skills, especially given its solid rating and creative premise.

Performance profile

May 2017 release. Neverout was built around the GTX 10-series / RX Vega era. Current-gen mid-range cards (RTX 4060 / RX 7600) are overkill at 1080p and handle 1440p Ultra comfortably.

Simulation titles like Neverout are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.

Extremely light — Neverout runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

When looking for a VR game full of puzzles and secrets, you have to come across Neverout. This is a production based on the original mechanics of the Gamedust studio, in which we end up in a mysterious prison. The prison is shaped like a cube and in many places refers to the cult movie Cube from 1997. The player observes the action through the eyes of the protagonist, becoming him and looking for a way out of the claustrophobic surroundings.
