About
To enjoy the vibrant and fast-paced gameplay of this adventure title, a minimum entry-level GPU like the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT is sufficient. This setup will allow players to experience the game at lower settings, likely targeting 1080p resolution with decent frame rates. If you're aiming for a smoother experience or wish to explore the game’s colorful visuals in higher detail, consider upgrading to a mid-range GPU such as the GTX 1660 Super or RX 6600. This will enable higher settings at 1080p and potentially 1440p resolutions, providing a more immersive experience.
The game is designed to be accessible, making it suitable for a wide audience, including casual gamers. With only 4 GB of RAM required, even budget systems can handle it well. For optimal performance, players with more powerful hardware can enjoy enhanced graphical fidelity and faster load times. Overall, if you're looking for an exciting and visually engaging platformer that doesn't demand the latest hardware, this title offers a great mix of challenge and accessibility.
Performance profile
July 2026 release. As a current-generation title, Pit Panic pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
Pit Panic is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.
Extremely light — Pit Panic runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
Take on the role of a curious archeologist and race through handcrafted levels, take down ancient bosses and jump up like your pants are on fire. Wield the mysterious hook – a powerful omnitool – that digs through blocks, swings you around and unlocks hidden treasures. Master physics-driven movement to avoid deadly traps and blast through interactive blocks. Turn sand into glass, jelly into fire and bridges into weapons, if necessary. You will have to dig deep to return to the surface. There are many ways to die, but only one way to survive: up. Get in the flow, make split-second decisions and even sacrifice your health for power-ups to escape the crumbling Aztec temple. The real fun starts after you climb out of the pit. Compare your skills with other players, beat their best times and complete unique daily challenges to receive precious rewards.
