About

"Rabbit Hole," released in 2022, is an action-adventure indie game that immerses players in a gripping narrative filled with supernatural intrigue. Set in the eerie rural town of Rabbit Hole, players take on the role of Shaun Turner as he navigates through twisted mysteries and battles an ancient evil to save his family. This unique blend of action and storytelling makes it a notable title for those seeking a captivating gaming experience.

For PC gamers, "Rabbit Hole" is relatively accessible when it comes to performance requirements. An entry-level GPU with a minimum score of around 2000 will suffice, allowing players to achieve satisfactory FPS while keeping graphics settings balanced. While the game is not overly demanding, ensuring you have at least 8 GB of RAM will help optimize performance and enhance the overall experience.

If you enjoy action-adventure games with rich storytelling and supernatural elements, "Rabbit Hole" comes highly recommended. Its intriguing gameplay and engaging narrative make it a worthwhile addition to your gaming library, especially for fans of indie titles looking for something fresh and exciting.

Performance profile

Released in September 2022, Rabbit Hole targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

Rabbit Hole is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.

Extremely light — Rabbit Hole runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

Retired Major, Shaun Turner, returns home from an annual meetup for veterans of the Iraq War. Upon reaching his small rural hometown, it becomes clear to Shaun that, in the few short days he was absent, something awful has happened. There are no longer any people left in the town. Instead, the otherwise deserted streets are populated only by grotesque monsters bearing a vague resemblance to the neighbours who, just days ago, saw Shaun off with a smile. Shaun’s plan is clear: get home as quickly as possible, save his wife and daughter and escape from the hellscape he once called home. But Shaun soon comes to understand that that won’t be as simple as it sounds and that the evil with which he now has to contend is even more horrifying than the battles he fought in many years ago.
