As you explore the darkest corners of the human psyche, you’ll confront chilling psychological elements that question reality and provoke thought. The game's combination of adventure and psychological horror, along with its atmospheric graphics, sets it apart in the indie gaming scene.
For players looking to run Rise of Insanity smoothly, the game is relatively accessible, requiring only an entry-level GPU with a minimum performance score of around 9638. With just 4 GB of RAM, you can expect to achieve decent FPS even on lower graphics settings. However, for a more satisfying experience with improved visual fidelity, a mid-range GPU is recommended, allowing for enhanced performance and better frame rates during intense explorations.
With a solid rating of 80/100, Rise of Insanity is definitely worth playing, especially for those who enjoy immersive narrative experiences and psychological thrillers. The unique storyline and thought-provoking gameplay make it a standout title within its genre, appealing to gamers seeking depth and intrigue in their gaming sessions.
Performance profile
March 2018 release. Rise of Insanity was built around the GTX 10-series / RX Vega era. Current-gen mid-range cards (RTX 4060 / RX 7600) are overkill at 1080p and handle 1440p Ultra comfortably.
Simulation titles like Rise of Insanity are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.
Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in Rise of Insanity; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.
