About
To enjoy the immersive experience of this psychological horror game, an entry-level GPU like the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT will meet the minimum requirements. Players with these graphics cards can expect to run the game at 1080p on low to medium settings, balancing performance with visual fidelity. The game’s retro-inspired design means it’s not as graphically demanding as many contemporary titles, making it accessible for those with budget builds.
For those looking to enhance their experience, a mid-range GPU, such as the RTX 3060 or RX 6600, would allow for higher settings and better frame rates, particularly at 1440p resolutions. This hardware can effectively handle the game's atmospheric visuals without compromising on performance. Overall, if you have a capable GPU and at least 8 GB of RAM, you should be well-equipped to navigate the haunting environments and intense gameplay this title offers.
Performance profile
May 2026 release. As a current-generation title, Saint of Chains pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
Saint of Chains is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.
Extremely light — Saint of Chains runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
You wake in a world that shouldn’t exist — rotting halls, whispering corridors, and the echoes of your own guilt. Saint of Chains is a psychological survival horror FPS where the line between memory and reality dissolves. Every step drags you closer to the truth… and the dread buried within. You play as Ethan, a successful investigative journalist who strongly believes that his wife and daughter were kidnapped by the "Covenant" - a cult that's been operating in the city, performing blood sacrifices and murders. With the police unable to find a trace of them, Ethan takes it upon himself to do something and rescue his family.
