About
Sea of Craft, released in 2023, is a captivating blend of adventure and simulation that allows players to engineer their own vessels and explore vast waterscapes. This indie title is notable for its realistic physics engine, which enhances the building experience and invites creativity through an extensive array of materials and weapons. Players can design and build unique crafts, making each gaming session feel fresh and personal.
For optimal performance in Sea of Craft, players should look for a setup equipped with an entry-level GPU, as the minimum requirement scores around 1759. With just 4 GB of RAM, the game is quite accessible; however, those aiming for higher FPS and smoother graphics should consider mid-range GPUs like the NVIDIA GTX 1650 or AMD RX 570. Running the game on lower settings can help achieve decent benchmarks on less powerful hardware, making it manageable for a broad range of players.
If you're a fan of adventure and simulation games, Sea of Craft is definitely worth your time. With its unique gameplay mechanics and an emphasis on creativity, it not only promises an engaging experience but also delivers on performance, making it a solid addition to any PC gamer's library.
Performance profile
March 2023 release. As a current-generation title, Sea of Craft pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.
Simulation titles like Sea of Craft are heavily CPU-dependent — physics, AI and world state dominate the frame budget. Prioritise a CPU with strong single-thread performance and fast RAM over raw GPU power.
Extremely light — Sea of Craft runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
