About

For an enjoyable experience in SpeedCoins, a minimum entry-level GPU like the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT is recommended. These graphics cards can handle the game’s vibrant 2D visuals and fast-paced action without significant issues. While the game is designed to be accessible, aiming for a balanced performance at 1080p resolution on medium settings is achievable with this level of hardware.

If you're looking for even smoother gameplay, especially if you want to maximize frame rates during intense sequences, consider a mid-range GPU such as the GTX 1660 Super or RX 6600. These options can easily manage high settings at 1080p, potentially allowing for 1440p gameplay with adjusted details depending on your specific hardware setup. Overall, SpeedCoins offers a great balance of accessibility and performance, making it a solid choice for gamers with various setups.

Performance profile

July 2025 release. As a current-generation title, SpeedCoins pushes modern hardware — expect to need an RTX 40-series or RX 7000-series GPU to enjoy it at native 4K Ultra without leaning on upscaling.

SpeedCoins is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.

Extremely light — SpeedCoins runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

In a world where the value of a single coin can mean the difference between hope and oblivion, a young boy named Eon embarks on an interdimensional journey to recover one last forgotten coin… a coin his father hid years ago for hard times. Guided by his mother, Eon travels through mysterious portals in search of a tool capable of reaching that lost coin. However, the journey takes him far beyond what he expected: worlds filled with strange creatures, unstable portals, and riddles from the past block his path. Throughout the levels, Eon discovers clues left by Lakshmi, a mysterious figure who seems to know him… or perhaps knows another Eon. As he progresses, a story unfolds—of love, loss, and cycles that repeat through time: another Eon, another journey, another quest to return home. Each level is packed with action, platforming, collectibles, and cryptic dialogue that will make you question what you know. The coins aren't just points: they're fragments of a broken story, of a shared past, and an uncertain future. In the final level, Eon returns home only to find a message left years ago by his mother. The tool they searched for has finally been set free. The last coin falls… and with it, the game’s credits roll.
