About

Synthetik: Legion Rising is a 2018 action rogue-lite shooter that puts you in an unforgiving battle against waves of robotic enemies. The gameplay emphasizes gun-play mechanics and quick reflexes, with players progressing floor by floor while collecting powerful weapons and upgrades along the way. It's an indie title that delivers intense, fast-paced action for players who enjoy the challenge of roguelike structure combined with shooter mechanics.

Performance-wise, Synthetik is quite accessible and won't demand high-end hardware. An entry-level GPU with a benchmark score around 1348 or higher will handle the game smoothly, making it friendly for budget gaming builds. You can expect solid FPS performance even on modest systems, and the game scales well across different graphics settings, so even older integrated graphics can run it at playable framerates.

With a user rating of 73/100, Synthetik offers solid entertainment for action game fans who appreciate roguelike design and gunplay-focused gameplay. If you enjoy challenging shooters with procedural variety and don't mind the indie presentation, it's worth checking out, especially given how efficiently it runs on most PC configurations.

Performance profile

March 2018 release. Synthetik: Legion Rising was built around the GTX 10-series / RX Vega era. Current-gen mid-range cards (RTX 4060 / RX 7600) are overkill at 1080p and handle 1440p Ultra comfortably.

Action titles like Synthetik: Legion Rising reward high framerates for visual clarity during combat. A mid-range modern GPU at 1440p 60–120 FPS is the practical sweet spot; VRR (G-Sync/FreeSync) smooths out drops during heavy effects.

Extremely light — Synthetik: Legion Rising runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

1985. After many years of slavery, the AI servants of Kaida Corporation, the world leader in robotics, have formed the "Machine Legion" and have set out to destroy humanity. Awakening in Kaida Corp. Headquarters, you are the human consciousness of a forgotten Android prototype; the last straw holding the Legion from unleashing the Heart of Armageddon. Only you can battle through the levels of Kaida Corporation's Headquarters, defeat the battalions of enemies within and put an end to this madness.
