About
To run The Ghost of Solaris smoothly, an entry-level GPU like the GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT is recommended. This allows players to experience the game at lower settings and resolutions, such as 1080p with medium graphics. For those seeking a more visually immersive experience, a mid-range GPU like the GTX 1660 Super or RTX 2060 can push the settings to high at 1080p or even allow for decent performance at 1440p.
The game is accessible enough for most gamers with a modern setup, given its minimum requirement of 16 GB of RAM. Lower-end systems should expect some compromises in graphical fidelity and frame rates, particularly in more demanding scenes. However, for optimal performance and visual quality, a stronger GPU paired with at least 16 GB of RAM is advisable. Overall, players should aim for a balanced setup to enjoy the gritty narrative and vibrant environments without significant performance hitches.
Performance profile
The Ghost Of Solaris is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.
Entry-level hardware target. A GTX 1650 or RX 6500 XT reaches 60 FPS at 1080p Medium in The Ghost Of Solaris; an RTX 4060 comfortably sustains 1440p Ultra. 4K Ultra 60 FPS needs an RTX 4070 or better.
Storyline
Solaris Bay was once a sprawling metropolis built on heritage and grit, but it has since been transformed into a clinical corporate dystopia under the iron-fisted rule of Victor Sterling. The city is now sharply divided: the ultra-wealthy elite reside within the heavily fortified, gleaming towers of the Silver District, while the rest of the population is left to survive in the neon-drenched, decaying slums of the Old Colony. The lower classes are kept in line through insurmountable financial debt, systemic oppression, and a dangerous new addiction circulating through the black market. Five years ago, Zain "Zero" Malik was one of the city's most feared and effective enforcers. That life abruptly ended when he was betrayed by his own brothers-in-arms and left to rot. Now, Zain has returned to a city he barely recognizes. With his family in danger and his former life erased, he assumes the mantle of the legendary "Ghost." Operating from the shadows, Zain must rebuild his alliances and coordinate a high-stakes revolution from the ground up. Reunited with his loyal squad—Abbas, Farah, and Elena—he launches a relentless guerrilla campaign against Sterling's private armies and the ruthless Aegis Commanders. To settle a debt written in blood, Zain must navigate the city's treacherous criminal underworld, sabotage corporate infrastructure, and dismantle the Sterling empire piece by piece. Ultimately, the player must navigate Zain's path of vengeance and decide the fate of Solaris Bay before its humanity is completely extinguished.
