About

"Town of Machine," released in 2021, is an indie adventure shooter that immerses players in a haunting narrative set 700 years in the future. You step into the shoes of Agent Silverman, a skilled Exorcist tasked with unraveling the mystery of a missing person in a ghost town filled with grotesque monstrosities. Notable for its chilling atmosphere and engaging gameplay, the game combines exploration and combat, creating an experience that stands out in the indie genre.

When it comes to PC performance, "Town of Machine" is relatively accessible, with a minimum GPU requirement of an entry-level model that scores around 2202. Players can expect reasonable FPS on mid-range hardware, with recommended GPUs including the NVIDIA GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 550. To ensure smooth gameplay, targeting 60 FPS may call for adjusting graphics settings, especially in more intense combat scenarios, but overall, it's a game that many PCs should handle comfortably.

If you're a fan of adventure and shooter genres, "Town of Machine" is worth considering, especially since it has garnered positive feedback for its compelling narrative and atmospheric design. The blend of exploration, horror, and action offers a unique experience, making this title a solid choice for gamers looking to delve into something fresh yet engaging.

Performance profile

Released in March 2021, Town of Machine targets RTX 20/30-series and RX 6000-era hardware. A current mid-range GPU (RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT) is the sweet spot for 1440p Ultra; 4K needs a high-end card.

Town of Machine is latency-sensitive: a high refresh-rate monitor (144 Hz+) and consistent 1% low framerate matter more than raw averages. Aim for a GPU that delivers 20–30% more headroom than the "just 60 FPS" tier to keep frame pacing smooth during intense fights.

Extremely light — Town of Machine runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
