About

"World In Danger," released in 2017, is an action-packed indie title that blends top-down gameplay with stealth elements reminiscent of classic games like "Metal Gear." Players embark on diverse missions across the globe, tackling tasks such as eliminating enemy factions, rescuing hostages, and disarming bombs, all while facing unique and challenging bosses that enhance the dynamic storytelling experience.

In terms of PC performance, "World In Danger" is relatively accessible, with a minimum GPU requirement of an entry-level graphics card that scores around 300. Players can expect stable FPS even on modest setups, as the game is designed to run smoothly with just 2 GB of RAM. For optimal performance, consider GPUs from the lower mid-range tier, which will allow for enhanced graphics settings and improved frame rates without requiring high-end hardware.

If you enjoy action-packed games with strategic elements, "World In Danger" is worth a try. It offers an engaging experience for both casual and dedicated gamers, making it a suitable choice in the indie game genre.

Performance profile

February 2017 release. World In Danger was built around the GTX 10-series / RX Vega era. Current-gen mid-range cards (RTX 4060 / RX 7600) are overkill at 1080p and handle 1440p Ultra comfortably.

Action titles like World In Danger reward high framerates for visual clarity during combat. A mid-range modern GPU at 1440p 60–120 FPS is the practical sweet spot; VRR (G-Sync/FreeSync) smooths out drops during heavy effects.

Extremely light — World In Danger runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.

Storyline

The world has become an increasingly dangerous place, the number of criminals, terrorists and general evildoers is at an all-time high. To counter this evil, decorated S.W.A.T. officer J.J. Colt founds the World Army. Together with his longtime friend Nathan "Rocket" Nace, an explosives expert and mechanical engineer. It is an army with no political or national allegiance, its only goal is making the world a better place by fighting evildoers on a global scale. Colt and Rocket are quickly joined by Samantha Byington, a renown competitive martial artist; and Marco Tundo, a highly trained ninja with a mysterious past. Several dozen recruits from all over the world also sign up. Some experienced or formerly retired soldier or mercenaries, others regular people with no combat experience. All of them in need of training or a refresher course before they are ready for action. The heroes are dutifully making progress towards achieving their goal. Little do they know that behind the scenes, a great evil is plotting a scheme of grand proportions...
