About
XBlaze Lost: Memories, released in 2015, is an intriguing visual-novel adventure set within the captivating BlazBlue universe. Players take on the role of a pink-haired protagonist as she explores a surreal alternate reality alongside the enigmatic girl Nobody, all while searching for lost Memory Fragments to rescue her sister. The game's narrative-driven gameplay distinguishes it from traditional action titles, offering a unique storytelling experience.
In terms of PC performance, XBlaze Lost: Memories is quite accessible, making it easily playable on entry-level hardware. With a minimum GPU requirement that scores around 137, users can expect reliable performance even on lower-end systems. For smoother gameplay, targeting a GPU from the entry-level tier should yield satisfactory FPS across various graphics settings, allowing players to focus on storytelling rather than performance issues.
While the game has received a mixed review score of 60/100, fans of visual novels and adventure genres may still find it worth their time. If you enjoy rich narratives and immersive experiences, this title could offer you an engaging way to spend your gaming hours, despite its modest rating.
Performance profile
Released in April 2015, XBlaze Lost: Memories sits in the DirectX 11 generation. Comfortable on any modern mid-range GPU at 1440p; even an RTX 3050 or RX 6600 typically delivers 4K60 at High settings.
XBlaze Lost: Memories is a narrative-driven experience — a rock-solid 60 FPS is plenty. Prioritise resolution and image quality (AA, anisotropic filtering) over chasing high-refresh framerates.
Extremely light — XBlaze Lost: Memories runs at 60 FPS 1080p on any integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe, AMD Radeon Graphics) or a decade-old discrete card like the GTX 1050. A current-gen RTX 4060 pushes 4K Ultra without effort.
Storyline
"Magister’s City Ishana— The protagonist “Me” lives on the outskirts of the city of Ishana with her little sister in idyllic peace. However, that peace is shattered when “Me’s” sister disappears without a trace. As panic begins to take a hold, “Me” starts running through increasingly more horrible scenarios in her mind. Was she kidnapped? Or is “that man” somehow behind it all? “That man” being their father, who performed dangerous experiments on his wife and eldest daughter without any explanation of his actions. Rushing to her father’s workshop only served to confirm her fears as the same strange azure light that appeared when her mother died once again was leaking through the cracks of the door… After a single deep breath, “Me” opens the door and then– –wakes up without her memories in the “Phantom Field”, a strange parallel world inhabited by a single person, the mysterious girl “Nobody”. It is from this point that the protagonist begins her quest to find her sister, her memories, and uncover the origin of the Phantom Field. Who is “Nobody”? What is the “Phantom Field”? A new story of the “Azure” will be uncovered…"
